Vista Mister Terms

VistaMister endeavour's to provide the best possible service, to you the client, using the skills and knowledge that I have acquired during many years of working in the computer and network business.

For legal reasons it is necessary to state that all work carried out by VistaMister
is under full understanding of the following terms and conditions:

  • No liability can be accepted for equipment, parts, data and/or media whilst in the
    possession of VistaMister. I will, of course, take the best possible care of your equipment/data at all times
    .

  • No liability can be accepted for data loss of any kind. We can provide a reliable backup of data at normal hourly labour rates. All work is performed on the understanding that all data on systems worked on by VistaMister has been previously backed to separate media (tape, DVD, hard disk, etc).

  • Unless otherwise stated, all invoices are payable immediately on presentation after the client has been satisfied him / herself with the completed work.

  • All equipment, parts, data , software and/or media remain the property of VistaMister until the invoice is settled in full.

  • The "No Fix, No Fee" offer applies only to problems that VistaMister is technically unable to fix and not due to an unwillingness of the customer to purchase the necessary parts or labour required to fix the problem. The client will be charged for the consultancy fee for the time spent on site.

  • If after diagnosis of the fault the work is deferred then a consultancy fee will be payable.

  • While I do my best to work within an agreed timescale for my visits, I may on occasion be forced to reschedule for another time due to circumstances beyond my control. Should this arise I will advise you. I cannot offer any compensation under these circumstances.

  • The client will be required to produce evidence of any licence for any software required to be installed.

  • I only offer guarantees and warranties as offered by the manufacturers of the components / equipment.

  • All information on the site is subject to change. No warranties implied or otherwise are made regarding the suitability of the information provided on this site. I will not be liable for special, incidental, consequential, indirect or other similar damages arising from the transfer, storage, or use of the information stored herein.

  • None of the above has any detrimental effects on your statutory rights as a customer. I will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have about these Terms & Conditions or any other part of this site or the services provided.

Client Support Area

You shall keep secure any identification, password and other confidential information relating to your account and shall notify Vista Mister immediately of any known or suspected unauthorised use of your account or breach of security, including loss, theft or unauthorised disclosure of your password.

Support ticket help is provided round the clock. We do not guarantee any time frame as far responding to support tickets, however we will make every reasonable effort to respond in a timely manner.

I will resolve the problem in your given situation. However all information is used at your own risk. Please note this before attempting any self repair.

Cancellation

VistaMister reserves the right to discontinue service to any user it feels violates any of these terms or for any reason that it finds to be valid for discontinuation of service.
